Help and support

Something not working, or a question about your membership? Write to us at jonny@stateshift.app and we'll get back to you. It helps to tell us what happened and the email you use in Huckle, if you added one.

Manage or cancel your membership

Apple bills Huckle memberships, so you change or cancel them in your iPhone settings:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions, then Huckle.
  4. Choose a different plan, or tap Cancel Subscription.

In Huckle, you can also tap the menu (three lines) at the top, then Account and plan, then Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep your membership until the end of the time you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.

Apple handles refunds. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restore your purchases

If you've paid but Huckle doesn't show your membership, for example on a new phone:

  1. Check you're signed in to your iPhone with the Apple ID you paid with.
  2. On the Huckle screen that shows the plans, tap Restore at the bottom. If you're already past that screen, tap the menu (three lines) at the top, then Account and plan, then See membership.

To bring your notes and your story to a new phone, sign in with the same email or Sign in with Apple you used before. On the welcome screen, tap “I already have an account”.

Delete your account

In Huckle, tap the menu (three lines) at the top, then Account and plan, then Delete account.

This permanently deletes your account, your notes and your conversation history, and it can't be undone. Huckle and Stateshift share one account, so if you use Stateshift with the same email, that account is deleted too. Deleting your account doesn't cancel your membership, so cancel it in your iPhone settings first.

If you're struggling right now

Huckle isn't a crisis service. If things feel heavy right now, you can call or text 988 any time. It's free and confidential. Outside the US, findahelpline.com lists free helplines near you. If you might be in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
